CHAPTER 553.  STATE SCHOOLS
SUBCHAPTER A.  GENERAL PROVISIONS

Sec. 553.001.  Epilepsy.

         A person may not be denied admission to a state institution or
school because the person suffers from epilepsy.

                  SUBCHAPTER B.  STATE SCHOOLS
                                
            Sec. 553.022.  San Antonio State School.
                                
(a) The San Antonio State School is for the education, care, and
         treatment of persons with mental retardation.
                                
(b) The Texas Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation
may enter into agreements with the Texas Department of Health for
use of the excess facilities of the Texas Center for Infectious
            Disease in the operation of the school.
